Project Responsibilities

  • Brand + Retail Lead ensuring seamless integration of Austin FC jerseys and lifestyle apparel/accessories
  • Lifestyle Set Lead (Narrative + Athlete Styling) 
  • Direct athletes on-set and assist in posing
  • Assist in set ideation and production (i.e., set building, prop styling, etc.) 
  • Project Management + Production Management, Player Scheduling (2021, 2022)
  • Project oversight (2023, 2024, 2025) 

Project Details

  • Media Day is an integral part of the MLS season, spanning multiple days across multiple sets
  • All first team players rotate through stations where content is captured that will support cross-departmental efforts throughout the regular season and beyond 
  • Media Day is critical for relationship building with athletes to determine how best to tell stories about them/highlight them in Club content
  • Each year we are dedicated to evolving our approach and focused on how best to highlight the athlete in different ways while continuing to support our seasonal brand campaigns. Execution requires coordinating efforts across all departments (Photo, Video, Social, Design, Partnerships, Player Personnel, etc.) 
  • Media Day is the best opportunity to capture athletes in Austin FC apparel to use for promotional assets throughout the year across multiple channels
